Pikasa analyzed the media coverage for the Meteo in the Western Balkans for the month of July. How much are important Meteo news for the audience and how they react in the news. The first chart shows us the time of posts where Meteo was mentioned more and in general first news on the Balkans media outlets are related to the weather and it covers a good part of number of articles. Regarding to the audience time reactions, there is a difference on reaction time, but in general the average reaction per post is similar in all the WB countries.

The highest number of average engagements is in Bosnia with 49 reactions per news article, followed by Serbia with 21, Albania 19, while Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro with 15 reactions per news article.

In the 2nd chart are most active sources and most engaged for each country. In Bosnia 74% of media outlets has posted for the Meteo news, followed by Albania with 68% , Kosovo with 64.5%, Montenegro with 56.4% , North Macedonia with 50.4% and Serbia 43.8%.

Methodology

Pikasa used its analytics.live media intelligence platform to conduct real-time online monitoring of more than 1,500 media and thousands of social media channels in 6 countries of the Western Balkans Region (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia).
