Back in January 2021 Nielsen has launched TV AdIntel services in Kosovo. 

Nielsen is providing advertisers, agencies and media owners with a picture of the competitive landscape by measuring in particular the following:  who advertised - on which medium - how much was spent by campaign - how many ads and ad formats. Currently six of the most important TV stations are covered by this service: RTV21, RTK1, Klan, KTV, Dukagini and T7. Nielsen's highest standards have been implemented to ensure the quality of this service, which should provide the opportunity for a positive impact on market improvement. The Nielsen Company (NYSE: NLSN) is announcing that the negotiations for a strategic alliance between the two companies have reached a final phase. The cooperation shall help shape the future of media measurement and TV advertising in Kosovo. Pikasa is intended to perform on the market as Nielsen’s exclusive sales representative partner, offering AdIntel services which currently will include Telepad, Multigrabber and video automatic spot recognition (ASR) technologies. In addition, Nielsen and Pikasa plan to further advance into integrating the Nielsen’s TAM (television audience measurement) data measurement solution for the whole market. Nielsen’s office in Skopje, Macedonia will provide all essential support for this business step.
