In the first quarter of 2025, Pikasa conducted a detailed analysis of news articles related to Capital Investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the analysis was to understand which industries are most frequently linked with capital investments in the country and which media outlets are most active in reporting on this topic.

The research was based on a sample of around 200 news articles published by a range of Bosnian media outlets. These articles were collected and reviewed to identify trends in reporting and industry focus.
The analysis revealed that the Agriculture industry was the most frequently mentioned sector in connection with capital investments. It appeared in 22.3% of the articles, showing strong media interest in agricultural development and funding. This may reflect ongoing efforts to modernize farming practices, support rural communities, and increase food production in the region.
The second most covered industry was Public Finance, mentioned in 13% of the news. This includes government spending, budget planning, and large-scale financial projects aimed at improving public infrastructure and services. Education followed closely, with 10.9% of the articles focusing on investments in schools, universities, and educational reforms.
In terms of media activity, several outlets stood out for their frequent reporting on capital investment topics:
- Slobodna Bosna published the highest number of related articles, with 12 news stories.
- RTRS followed with 10 articles, while Dnevni Avaz contributed 8.
- BL Portal, Vijesti.ba, and Info Bijeljina each published 7 articles on the topic.
This analysis helps to highlight the sectors that are receiving the most attention in terms of investment, as well as the media platforms that are actively covering economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It offers useful insights for policymakers, investors, and journalists who are tracking the country’s growth and priorities.
